I really admire the morality and love of life this novel teaches you; I would say it is in itself the essence of the important things in life. That’s why they made a movie out of it, because it’s something that’s written in accordance to human desire; it does not matter if it’s true, it just simply states the true.
It was the spring of 1984, the most beautiful part of their lives, something that would be a part of them forever; it was love. It had seemed to defy all laws, realities; the love they had for each other was irrevocable. The small town of Oriental, North Carolina; Dawson Cole and Amanda Collier had adored each other out of bounds. But the time they had with each other was taken away by unforeseen events in their families and so they went on their separate paths.
The writer I believe has succeeded in conveying a very precious essence of herself, the writer exposed herself in a beautiful way. This novel is a worthy read for the love birds.
