Review:
George R.R Martin’s third novel in the series; A Song of Ice and Fire, first published in 2000 is the very emanating story of the series. It prepares different manifestations for the upcoming horrors, builds the foundation by picking up the story right after its predecessor, A Clash of Kings. The kings are competing for the Iron throne and chaos has befallen in Westeros. Catelyn Stark, the wife of Ned Stark, the mother of Rob Stark; the Wolf of the North, offers the King Slayer (Jamie Lannister) his freedom in return for her two daughters who are in Kings Landing, and so the King Slayer is taken on a journey home with a female knight name Brienne of Tarth. Different stories emanate in the novel, contributing to the upbringing of the incoming ones; planned novels. A Storm of Swords is a storm of swords in every way.
